Let's have a Carnival & Fun Weekend in 2025

Colchester last had its carnival after a break of a few years in 2019 when it was brought back by a group of volunteers including members of the Essex Fire Service in Colchester . 2020 then came and went with the time of lockdowns plans for a VE Day themed celebration never came to fruition.

So this now begs a question ...

• Would you like to see another carnival in 2025
• Would you like to be involved?
• Do you have a business you'd like to promote?
• Are you a Charity organisation or Club ?
• Do you have experience with events?
• Would you like Voluntary work and organising?

If the answer is YES to any of the the above we want to hear from you.

A number of the team from 2019 are interested to hear what you think as we are planning the route and about to announce the date of the procession due to take place in August 2024

We are bringing back Colchester Carnival in August 2025. We need to see if there is the support for organising this year if there is then lets do this!!

Would you like to join the team organising this year's carnival. we have roles for looking after the volunteers and stewards as well as vehicle management.

Its not a Carnival procession without floats either walking or on a vehicle. Express an interest by clicking above
