Newsletter –
As the Carnival date fast approaches we already have an exciting line up of dancing and pedestrian groups, exhibiting vehicles, and full floats. We currently have 42 confirmed different entrants with others expected to announce their involvement in the coming weeks.
This will be the first Carnival in Colchester since 2016 and already looks set to be the largest one this decade, placing Colchester back on the tourist map for those wishing to watch or participate in the street procession.
It is never too late to enter, and it is certainly not too late to start thinking about entering next year. We already have some big names in Colchester who are pledging to join us in 2020, so this could be even bigger and better.
We are always looking for marching or static bands who would like to take part, so please contact us if you are in one and want to be involved.
Stewards to make the event run smoothly and safely are also always sought after, so if you are in any sort of club with a lot of adults who could assist us on the day then please do get in touch through the website.
This is a Community charity event with the hopes of raising money to support those who need it. We can only achieve this goal if we have sponsors who can cover the limited but necessary running costs for the event. Any sponsorship or donation, no matter how large or small, will make a big difference to this event continuing in future years and raising money for charitable purposes. Please do get in touch if you wish to support the event and promote your business at the same time.
Set the date and time in your diary if you are not in the Carnival, and we will see you there.
